The reusable alternative to toilet paper in nature.
The PeeCloth is an antimicrobial cloth for dabbing off after peeing, made for the outdoors. Designed for people with a vulva who hike, bike, climb, ski tour, camp or simply want to leave no trace.
The SPURLOS PeeCloth was started by a small outdoor collective. As adventurers we believe: being outdoors means leaving no trace and leaving nature as it is.
Here’s how it works:
Pee as usual, away from trails and water. Then gently dry with the black inside of the PeeCloth.
Fold with the colourful, clean side out, close with the magnet and clip it to your backpack with the carabiner.
You can use the PeeCloth multiple times. The fabric is designed so that the PeeCloth stays fresh even on trips lasting several days.
On the trail: Rinse with a little water and biodegradable soap when needed – always away from streams and lakes (scoop the water first).
At home: Remove the carabiner and wash in the washing machine at a maximum of 40 °C (without fabric softener or enzymes). Then leave to air dry.
Ready for the next adventure!
The sustainable way to dab off outdoors. Available in three designs.

That's entirely up to your personal preferences! If shaking it off works for you, great. However, many people appreciate the PeeCloth because it keeps you feeling dry and clean on the go.
No, that's not what it's meant for. It's intended solely for wiping after peeing. Trekking bidets, for example, are a great, sustainable alternative to toilet paper for number two.
That depends on your personal hygiene preferences. Thanks to the antimicrobial silver-ion technology, the cloth stays fresh for a long time. As a general guideline: On multi-day trips, a quick rinse every 1 to 2 days is sufficient.
Important: If you use soap, never rinse it out directly in a river or lake!
Scoop up some water and wash the PeeCloth away from the water (using biodegradable natural soap). This allows the soil to naturally filter out the soap residue, keeping the water clean.
No, please do not put it in the dryer or only at very low temperatures! If the heat is too high, the built-in waterproof membrane will melt and the cloth will no longer function properly. Instead, simply let it air dry.
With a high-quality product, the cost of materials accounts for only a small proportion of the total cost. The bulk of the work lies in the precise cutting and sewing of the specialised fabrics, inserting the magnets and attaching the loops. The amount of labour involved in local production at the Zurich sewing workshop is exactly the same for the Mini as it is for the standard PeeCloth.
No, the idea originally came from the U.S. thru-hiking scene (made famous by brands like Kula Cloth™). We’ve further developed the concept for Switzerland, produced it locally, and adapted it to the needs of Swiss outdoor enthusiasts.
