We are Spurlos

Spurlos is a small outdoor collective founded by Alma, Janina and Simon.

We met while trekking together on an 11-day project by @explorerbeltschweiz. Before our last long trek in the Pindus Mountains, we came across the PeeCloth, an idea from the USA, and were hooked straight away. From that moment on, awkward or wind-blown toilet paper in the mountains was a thing of the past for us.

Our goal

To make the PeeCloth better known across the Alps and to build sustainable, local production in Switzerland. No sooner said than done: in spring 2026 we launched the first production batch as merchandise for @explorerbeltschweiz. Today our SPURLOS PeeCloths are made in close collaboration with Nähwerk Zürich – a local social enterprise.

More than an alternative to toilet paper

For us, SPURLOS is more than a hygienic alternative to toilet paper. We want to raise awareness of moving through nature without leaving a trace, and to make the Leave No Trace principle visible on backpacks – so that our mountain valleys and trails stay clean. When you use a PeeCloth, you help keep the mountains clean – simply by taking the message outdoors with you. Every PeeCloth counts!
